This collage was just acquired by Isabelle Spicer, before she relocated from Washington DC to Berlin. The piece comes from my first attempts in utilizing an approach that juxtiposes signifiers on top of an abstract grid.

This piece is part of the 'helmet head' series. It is collage on canvas. It was acquired by Teresa Mary Brown in New York.

Auction Donation

This piece was donated to a local auction, held in October 2009, that benefited the non-profits: Paper to Pearls (http://www.papertopearls.org/) and ProMicro Finance (http://www.promicrofinance.org/). The latter was created by John Syauswa Kavyavu, who is a colleague of mine from the Congo. It was a pleasure to prepare this piece to be part of the auction. It was acquired by local Washingtonian Kym Park.
